Art in Focus: The Healing Arts II Exhibition

We are thrilled to announce the opening of a unique exhibition in partnership with Art in the Frame Foundation in celebration of World Mental Health Day on the 10th of October. ‘Art in Focus: The Healing Arts II will showcase powerful visual artworks created by islanders living with mental illness, who participatein the Art in Focus Workshops.

Since its launch in July 2023, the Art in Focus workshops have offered a supportive and empowering space for participants to explore their creativity and work towards exhibiting their work in a professional gallery setting.

By presenting the Art in Focus: The Healing Arts II exhibition on World Mental Health Day, we aim to raise awareness of mental illness and ensure that islanders affected by it are a key part of the conversation around mental health in our community.

Opening Reception: Thursday 10th of October, 18h00 atthe Harbour Gallery.

Special Guest: Dr. Lorna Collins, leading advocate for artsand creativity in health
